? What is Overeating Plus?

Overeating Plus adds a revolutionary oversaturation system to Minecraft! When your hunger bar is full, keep eating to unlock powerful bonuses, unique abilities, and watch your character grow!

Current Features

Oversaturation System

• New oversaturation bar that activates when hunger is full
• Oversaturation grants powerful bonuses
• Up to 40 kg (configurable)

Food Variety System (ONLY WHEN OVEREATING)

• Tracks recent food history (up to 18 foods)
• Blocks repeated foods for balance
• Prevents food spamming by requiring variety

Character Growth

• Your character physically grows with oversaturation

Overeating abilities

Fat Armor

• Additional fat hearts that absorb damage
• Up to 40 extra HP (20 hearts) at max stacks

Slime Bounce

• Bounce off blocks like a slime (unlocks at stack 10)
• Chain bouncing with diminishing strength
• Toggle ability with keybinding (G)

Shockwave

• Create devastating shockwaves when landing from heights (unlocks at stack 25)
• 3.5 block radius AoE damage and knockback
• Toggle ability with keybinding (H)

Combat Bonuses

• Strength: +5% attack damage per stack (up to +100%)
• Knockback Resistance: +2% per stack
• Melee Repulse: Knock back attackers (starts at stack 10)
• Attack Distance: +1 block reach at max stacks

Movement Penalties

• Speed slowdown begins at stack 1
• -1% per stack (configurable)

Lunch Boxes (16 colors × 2 tiers)

• Features:
  • Eat food directly from the box
  • Сan be placed as a block for convenient inventory management
  • Use a netherite for upgrade your lunch box!

Recipe Book

• Tracks all food types you've eaten
• Shows collection progress

Scales Block

• Measures your oversaturation weight
• Redstone output (0-15 power)
• GUI panel showing stats

⚔️ Enchantments

Bottomless Stomach

• Increases lunchbox capacity
• Treasure enchantment found in chests

Fast Eater

• Speeds up eating from lunchbox

• Treasure enchantment found in chests

Overeating is fully configurable with 50+ options:

• Core oversaturation settings
• Combat bonuses and thresholds
• Ability parameters
• Character growth scaling
• Redstone output from scales
• Food variety settings

? Compatibility

Now supports the following mods out of the box:

• Farmer's Delight
• End's Delight
• Trail & Tales Delight
• My Nether's Delight

Automatic detection (no manual TOML config needed) for:

• Any block/item with the c:edible_when_placed tag
• Any CakeBlock whose corresponding item has FoodProperties

• nutrition / saturation — optional, if not specified, taken from the item
• canonical — links the block and the item for food variety (so that the block and its slice are considered the same food)
