Known issue:

Pausing the game in singleplayer world (without LAN turned on) may cause the delay of the next part of the song.
This is happening because of the datapack calculates which part should go next using minecraft's tickrate, which is paused when you pausing the game.

For example, there is 3 parts of the song in game:
Intro, loop, and outro.

The song is about 3 minutes long (180 seconds / 3,600 minecraft ticks), so there is a fixed amount of ticks which should be added to the main count of ticks.
Let's take these three:
1st part - 0-500 ticks
2nd part - 501-3,000 ticks
3rd part - 3,001-3,600 ticks.

Every tick, this datapack adds 1 to main number, so it can decide when it should play a part "N".
So, if you pause the game, the song would keep playing untill the next part because the datapack simply cannot calculate the number because of the paused game. This is the issue which has no way to solve in all ways (unless you open your world into a LAN, or play on a server)
