Corpses

• Dying leaves a corpse at the spot you fell, wearing your skin (slim and classic models both supported) and holding your full inventory plus your experience.
• Right-click to open, or sneak-right-click to grab everything at once.
• "Transfer Items" returns every item to its original inventory slot - armor, offhand and hotbar included.
• Corpses are fireproof and don't fall, so they survive lava and the void.
• Corpses that are left too long despawn and drop their contents instead of deleting them.

Protection & ageing

• Owner-only grace period, after which anyone may loot the body.
• After an hour a corpse ages into a skeleton, and can optionally become free for anyone to loot.
• Operators can be configured to bypass protection.

Death History (U key)

• Every death is recorded with dimension, coordinates, time and item count.
• Green tick marks a body that still exists; red cross marks one that's gone.
• "Location" produces a teleport command to the death site.
• "Items" opens a read-only snapshot of the inventory exactly as it was at the moment of death, which stays accurate even after the body is looted.
• Operators can view any player's history with /deathhistory .

Configuration

• config/fallen.json controls the grace period, despawn timer, experience handling, operator bypass, skeleton ageing, death-history size, and whether corpses may spawn over the void or in lava.
