a mod i was using that changed hunger to a stamina system no longer works and i cant find a good alternative. decided to try to make my own. i do not know java or how to make a mod so i used Claude AI (sue me) to help me through it and im very happy with the results...heres a breakdown of what my hunger/sprint/health overhaul does.

• Sprinting now drains oxygen instead of hunger.
• Hunger now depletes slower than normal.
• Health Regen is now dependent on how full your hunger is. (rate of 100% > 0%)
• Oxygen Regen is now dependent on how full your hunger is. (rate of 100% > 80%)
• respiration enchantment effects oxygen drain from sprinting.

comes with in-game mod menu settings so you can tweak many of these values to your liking.

• Hunger Drain Multiplier
• Oxygen Drain Rate (Sprinting)
• Sprint Cutoff (Bubbles)
• Oxygen Refill Rate
• Underwater Sprint Drain
• Health Regen Multiplier
• health regen hit delay

you still cant sprint when hunger drops to 3 meats.

Altitude — high mountains have thin air, oxygen refills slower depending on your Y level.

Wet — getting caught in rain or swimming makes you wet, slows movement slightly and makes you cold faster if Thermal exists. drying off near fire removes it
