Startres Mod

A lightweight tool for modpack developers, implemented via KubeJS:

• Player Perspective Binding: Lock perspective to entities or custom cameras
• Avatar Combat System: Summons automatically assist in combat (originally the core feature for the summoner playstyle in my modpack)
• Expandability: Compatible with vanilla/modded mobs. Shift + right-click on avatar entities to control AI modes (requires enabling in config file, disabled by default)

? This mod initially served my unreleased modpack and was open-sourced due to its universal functionality. Some features (such as AI mode switching) are disabled by default to avoid interfering with basic usage.

? Core Features

1. Camera Perspective Binding
   Bind the player's perspective to any entity via KubeJS (the mod includes a dedicated camera entity for perspective binding).

2. Avatar Combat System
   Entities with the tags incarnation and incarnation_owner_<ownerUUID> will automatically assist the player in combat.
   Supports aggro inheritance and target priority control, compatible with most vanilla and modded mobs.
   Provides buffs to control avatar duration, with automatic despawn upon expiration.

Minecraft 1.20.1
Download startres-x.x.x.jar and place it in the mods folder.
Call via KubeJS scripts.

⚠️ Notes
A small number of mobs may attack players due to native AI conflicts and require manual adjustment.
