SpringWalk is a mod focused on transforming how walking through the Minecraft world sounds and feels, inspired by the heavy, metallic footsteps of Springtrap. Designed for NeoForge 1.21.1, it adds a special pair of boots with a unique look and a fully custom audio system that reacts dynamically to the player’s movement.

When you equip the Spring Boots, every step triggers exclusive walking sounds with that mechanical, unsettling Springtrap-style vibe, including multiple variations so it never becomes repetitive. The mod tracks the actual distance you move and your current state, automatically switching between walking and running sounds to keep a natural step rhythm instead of simple sound spam, and smoothly adjusting volume with distance so players farther away only hear a faint echo.

The boots also have their own equip sound and a special kill sound that plays when the player defeats an entity while wearing them, giving each kill a distinct finishing effect. SpringWalk includes dedicated textures for both the inventory item and the equipped armor model, delivering a complete experience: a distinct visual identity and heavy, metallic, immersive audio feedback for every movement and combat encounter with the Spring Boots.
