Archaeology kinda sucks doesn't it. It's a really fun idea, and it's almost tragic how bad the rewards are for the process. But what if there was a solution to this problem? Introducing, Altered Archaeology. This datapack buffs trail and ocean ruin archaeology loot tables, makes sniffers easier to get, and gives sniffer digging biome-dependant loot tables. Sniffers also now uproot the full pitcher/torchflower plant instead of the seeds, which can now be obtained by placing the plant onto a campfire. These little changes are small, but make archaeology and sniffers seem like a complete feature rather than an afterthought from Mojang. Justice for Sniffers!
