Nubz Corrected Curses

This datapack's goal is to make Curses in Minecraft a more interesting discovery. It aims to give players a chance to consider their options for using Curses, instead of instantly discarding all items enchanted with one.

It changes the concept of a Curse from a purely negative effect, to a negative and positive effect. Each new Curse, and already existing Curses, will provide the players with interesting effects that will both negatively, and positively impact the player.

What Changed?

This datapack has only changed the base 'Curse of Binding' a small amount. Each piece of armor with Curse of Binding will have 2 additional armor toughness, and 1 additional armor. This way, this Curse will provide the player with more protection at the cost of not being able to remove it.

My goal is to change 'Curse of Vanishing' aswell, but currently, I have not yet thought of something that I would consider fitting and fair.

New Curses

This datapack also provides 7 new curses, all with new unique effects to make curses a more interesting find as loot. All curses will be listed below within a spoiler tag.

Warning: This datapack changes ALL entity loot tables due to one Curse listed below. Due to the limitations within JSON and datapacks, this will cause conflicts with other datapacks changing entity loot tables. I am planning on making an alternate version of this datapack that will trade some reliability and consistancy for this specific Curse, but will allow you to combine it with other datapacks changing mob loot tables.

Spoiler - **_Curse of Diminishing:_** An armor unique Curse that will reduce the players max health, jump strength, and movement speed. In turn, they will become smaller! This effects stacks, meaning that with 1 piece, you can still jump up blocks, with 2 pieces you can sneak to become smaller then one block, and with 3 pieces you will always be smaller then one block. - **_Curse of the Drowned:_** Tool exclusive Curse that slows down block breaking speed, except for when your underwater! then it increases it instead. Combining this with _Aqua Affinity_ will provide the player with a significant boost in block breaking speed underwater compared to on land. - **_Curse of Gluttony:_** This curse can be applied to everything except armor. it will continuously drain durability while holding the item, but there is a small chance it refills hunger whenever durability is consumed. Delicious! - **_Curse of Greed:_** A melee weapon only Curse. It will change ALL mob drops to iron and gold nuggets. Feeling hungry, whoops, it's an iron nugget now. Really wanted that smithing template from the Elder Guardian, I hope you like gold! There are some small easter eggs though, see if you can find them! - **_Curse of Infestation:_** A Curse exclusive to pickaxes. Whenever you hit a block, there is a chance a silverfish will spawn. It does allow you to pick of infested blocks, something even _Silk Touch_ can't do! Perfect for pranking your friends! - **_Curse of Undeath:_** This Curse can only be found and applied on chestplates. All zombies and skeletons will become passive to the player. I do hope you dislike the sun though, because standing in direct sunlight will burn you now! - **_Curse of Wrath:_** A simpler Curse that can only be applied on melee weapons. These weapons will deal more damage, but this damage isn't only to the targets you hit. You will also take damage everytime you hit something with an item that is affected by this Curse.
