? Broken Hearts

Every time you die, your max health decreases. you can restore your life by finding or crafting broken, restored, or golden hearts. Features a simple config, few items (with both normal and hardcore recipes which you can choose via config!) and a respawn notification.

Broken hearts drop upon death and can be used to craft restored hearts or golden hearts
Restored hearts allow to restore (duh) 1 heart of lost max hp (2.0 max hp to be exact) BUT won't heal you if you have less than half max hp already
Golden hearts will fully restore your lost hearts and can be used at any time

Difference between this mod and Unhealthy Dying is that it features a craftable/obtainable items to restore your max hp instead of killing certain mobs

Config options:

Broken Heart mode: DROP (at death location), INVENTORY (on respawn), or NONE (no heart given)
S:brokenHeartMode (default drop)

Weight for Golden Heart in loot tables (1-100)
I:goldenHeartLootWeight (default 5)

Enable WIP hardcore recipes (requires restart)
B:hardcoreRecipes (default false)

HP reduction per death (2.0 = 1 heart)
D:hpReductionPerDeath (default 2.0)

Maximum deaths to count for penalty (0 = no limit)
I:maxPenaltyDeaths (default 0)

Minimum HP a player can have
D:minimumHp (default 2.0)

Drop chance for Restored Heart from hostile mobs (0.0-1.0)
D:restoredHeartMobDropChance (default 0.03)

Show a big title message on screen after respawn
B:showRespawnTitle (default true)
