Kids Military Games

A military role-play modpack for a small private, whitelisted kids' server — Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge). Guns, vehicles, tanks and aircraft, base-building with automation, on a ruined post-apocalyptic world. Survival play, teamwork, and no cheating.

Inspired by the "military role play mod pack" on CurseForge — but that one was tiny and had no quality-of-life or tech, so this expands it into a full pack.

What's inside

• Vehicles — Immersive Vehicles (tanks, helicopters, planes), Superb Warfare vehicles, Vintage Vehicle Pack.
• Create 6 automation — Create + Crafts & Additions, Deco, Copycats+, Steam 'n' Rails, Big Cannons, and Create: TaCZ Automation (automate ammo/guns), plus Immersive Engineering.
• Quality of life — JEI, Jade, Waystones, Sophisticated Backpacks, Farmer's Delight, Corpse (recover your stuff on death), Iron Chests, Xaero's minimap & world map.
• Atmosphere — Lost Cities (ruined cities), Immersive Weathering, Explosion Overhaul, Sound Physics, Simple Voice Chat.
• Performance — Embeddium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, EntityCulling, Clumps.

Design decisions

Bases are grief-proof, but not theft-proof — on purpose.
Claimed land (Open Parties & Claims) stops other players from breaking your blocks or blowing up your base (explosions can't destroy claimed chunks). But doors and chests are left open to everyone inside a claim. Why? So there's still a reason to actually secure your house — use SecurityCraft (keypad doors, code-locked chests, reinforced blocks, laser mines) to keep intruders out and valuables safe. Claims = anti-grief; SecurityCraft = anti-theft.

A ruined, post-apocalyptic world.
The world generates with Lost Cities — rare abandoned cities scattered across the map to explore, loot, and fight through, matching the survival / zombie-apocalypse theme.

Explosions matter, but the server survives them.
Explosion Overhaul gives cannons and TNT real destructive craters out in the open, but it's tuned for server performance (lighter scanning, smaller craters) and claimed bases are protected from explosion damage.

No cheating.
The server runs anti-xray (ore obfuscation, so x-ray can't find diamonds) and a client mod whitelist to keep the playing field fair for everyone.

Built to stay in sync.
Every mod is sourced from Modrinth so the client pack and the server always run the exact same versions.

Private pack for a specific whitelisted server. The mods included remain the property of their respective authors under their own licenses.
