ABOUT FABLES

The Fables mod will add unique fictional critters that will hopefully add some more depth to various areas of your Minecraft World. Experience it yourself and let your next adventure be full of curiosity and whimsy! (Hopefully...)

NOTE: This mod is highly WIP and feedback would be greatly appreciated (also it will be buggy.)

Update 1 (Current):
The Crownfly

Spoiler A mob added to the nether, it spawns near Blocks of Raw Gold and is tamable with Golden Apples, you can trigger it to spawn by placing Blocks of Raw Gold down in the Nether anywhere, but it will naturally spawn in the new structure the Crownfly Hive! Tamed Crownflies can be given different colored gems by right-clicking them various trim materials, can be fed Raw Copper to produce Molts (which give Rose Gold, a new material!), and can be Shift-Right clicked to be used as a helmet, this helmet state can be enchanted which will give the Crownfly unique properties when switched back to mob state (Shift + V) Currently the enchantment properties are Thorns = Strength, Unbreaking = Absorbtion, Protection = Resistance, Fire Protection = Fire Immunity, Projectile Protection = Projectile Immunity, Mending = Regeneration on Kill, and Venomous = Poison on hit, Venomous is another new enchantment added by the mod that applies Poison on hit, and can only be used on tools gold and lower (or the Crownfly itself), the last notible feature beyond the items crafted with Rose Gold is the Wind Drifting enchantment, found in End Cities, and can be applied to the Crownfly and Elytra to gain slow falling.
