? What does this datapack do?
In vanilla Minecraft, stairs are crafted from 6 blocks → 4 stairs.
This datapack adds the reverse recipe:
? 4 stairs → 6 corresponding blocks

Now you can recover your materials without any loss.

✅ Works for all stair types (wood, stone, sandstone, quartz, nether, prismarine, bamboo, cherry, etc.)

✅ Does not break balance — simply returns the original blocks

✅ Perfect for servers where resources matter

✅ Works without any crafting table (standard 2×2 grid)

? How to install:
Download the .zip file (or the folder containing data/)

Place it into the datapacks folder of your world:
.minecraft/saves/YourWorldName/datapacks/

Reload the world or run the command /reload

Open a crafting table — the recipes will appear automatically

Dismantle unwanted stairs from your builds

Fix block miscalculations during construction

Get more blocks for other crafts

Useful in resource-limited modpacks

This datapack does not replace the original stair recipe (6→4), it adds the reverse one (4→6).
