ChaosSwap

ChaosSwap is a Fabric mod that randomly swaps your position with a nearby mob every 40–60 seconds, creating unpredictable and chaotic gameplay. You can be mining one moment and suddenly find yourself in a completely different situation.

Features

• Random player and mob position swapping

• Configurable interval (default 40–60 seconds)

• 100 block swap radius

• Optional effects such as warning message, blindness, and sounds

• Smart Teleporting

  The mod includes logic to improve teleport safety and consistency:

• If the player is on the surface, swaps will prioritize surface mobs

• If the player is underground, swaps will prioritize cave mobs

• Repeated cave swaps will eventually send the player back to the surface

• Configuration

  The mod is fully customizable through the config folder.

You can edit the file:

config/chaos_swap.json

From there, you can enable or disable features like:

• Warning message
• Blindness effect
• Sounds
• Swap timing and radius

Disabling all effects will result in instant teleportation.
