This datapack adds the Variable Golem origin, a special golem that can be built from multiple different variables for lots of variety.

Made for the 2025 Origins: Cog in the Wheel jam

Abilities

Battery

Instead of food, you must maintain your battery charge to survive. When it is low, you will be unable to sprint, and when it is depleted, you will slowly take damage.

Variable

When selecting this origin for the first time, you may select a component from 3 categories to make up your body with: An Elemental Core, a Power Supply for your battery, and a Utility Hand.

Flame Core

A core that grants you fire elemental abilities.

Aqua Core

A core that grants you water elemental abilities.

Thunder Core

A core that grants you lightning elemental abilities.

Frost Core

A core that grants you ice elemental abilities.

Nature Core

A core that grants you nature-based abilities.

Power Supplies

Furnace

Recharge your battery slowly by consuming fuel.

Solar Panel

Recharge your battery through exposing yourself to sunlight.

Hydro Engine

Recharge your battery through water flow.

Crystal Matrix

Recharge and slow your battery through the use of amethyst crystals.

Lightning Capacitor

Recharge your battery through lightning strikes.

Utility Hands

Drill Hand

Increases mining speed and allows you to mine natural stone as if your hand was a pickaxe.

Claimb Hand

Allows for climbing walls.

Piston Fist

Knocks enemies away when using melee attacks.

Crafting Hand

Allows for easy crafting, anywhere.

Pocket Hand

Adds additional storage options.
