Vibranium

Inspired by the Marvel movies this mod introduces a new metal called Vibranium that has unique capabilities.

Built around the concept of kinetic energy, this mod introduces an entirely new way to mine, a high-tech gadget for crowd control, and a suit of armor that absorbs physical impacts and weaponizes them against your enemies.

The Progression

Finding the Ore

Vibranium Dirt Ore generates deep underground, exclusively beneath Savanna biomes. You can spot it in the dark caves by its faint purple glow.

However, Vibranium is completely indestructible to normal tools. Even a Netherite pickaxe cannot break it. To harvest this metal, you have to engineer a specialized tool capable of destabilizing the block.

The Sonic Device

To extract Vibranium, you need to build the Sonic Device.

When you right-click with this high-tech gadget, it fires a straight beam of sonic shockwaves. If the wave connects with Vibranium ore within a 5-block radius, it safely shatters the block and drops the Vibranium Ingot. The device requires careful use, as it has a built-in cooldown and limited durability, but it can also be used to push back enemies in a pinch.

Kinetic Combat and Armor

Crafting and wearing a full suit of Vibranium armor unlocks its true potential. The suit constantly monitors the physical impacts you take and redirects that energy to protect you.

Passive Enhancements
The armor is incredibly lightweight but highly durable. While wearing the full set, you receive a permanent boost to your movement speed and jump height.

Superhero Landings
Vibranium absorbs physical shock. You will take absolutely zero fall damage, regardless of how high you drop from. When you land from a massive fall, the suit absorbs the impact of the ground and stores it as kinetic energy.

The Energy Shield
If you hold the sneak key, the suit projects a purple energy field around your body. Any projectile, like arrows or tridents, that hits you while you are sneaking will be completely deflected. You take zero damage, and the suit absorbs the impact instead.

The Counter-Attack
Whenever your suit successfully absorbs energy from a fall or a deflected arrow, your character will begin to glow. This indicates your suit is fully charged.

Your next melee attack will discharge this stored energy. The punch deals 15 points of massive bonus damage and triggers a sonic explosion directly on your target. Once the energy is released, the glow fades until you absorb another hit.

Tools and Weapons

Once you secure a steady supply of ingots, you can craft a complete set of Vibranium tools, including swords, pickaxes, and gauntlets. They act as your ultimate late-game gear, boasting incredible durability, fast attack speeds, and high damage output.

Gauntlet is a special weapon that you can use to punch your enemies with or shoot shockwaves by right clicking. It deals high damage but has it's built in cooldown
