Caves and Katanas

This is a small mod whichs adds 6 (7 in 1.21.9+) katanas to Minecraft, which have a faster attack speed but deal less damage compared to swords of the same material, while costing slighty more to craft then a sword.

Crafting:

The handle is crafted with leather and a stick. Katanas can be crafted with all vanilla materials: Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite (via Smithing).
