RedstoneCooldown

RedstoneCooldown is a simple and lightweight plugin that helps keep your server stable by preventing redstone and interaction spam.

On many servers, players can spam buttons, levers, pressure plates, or other interactive blocks very quickly. This can cause unnecessary lag and lead to TPS drops. Redstone Cooldown solves this by adding a configurable cooldown between interactions, so blocks cannot be used again instantly.

The plugin supports multiple interaction types, including buttons, levers, pressure plates, trapdoors, fence gates, and cauldrons. For cauldrons, all fillable types are supported, such as water, lava, and powder snow.

All cooldown values are defined in seconds and can be configured individually. Each interaction group can be enabled or disabled separately, giving server owners full control over how strict the limits should be.

If a player tries to interact with a block that is still on cooldown, an ActionBar message is shown to inform them that the cooldown is active. This message can be fully customized in the configuration file.

Permission:

Players with the permission redstonecooldown.bypass can ignore all cooldowns and interact without any delay.
