WelcomeMod Usage Instructions

Installation

1. Place the mod JAR file into the mods folder of your Fabric server. Fabric API is required as a dependency. This mod is server-only; clients do not need to install it.
2. Start the server, and the config file welcome-mod.json will be automatically generated inside the config folder.

Configuration

Shut down the server and open the config file to edit the welcomeMessage field:

1. Use & for color codes (e.g. &a for green), which will be automatically converted to Minecraft native § color codes.
2. %player% is the placeholder for the joining player's username.
3. Use \n to create line breaks for multi-line welcome text.

Apply Settings

1. Save the file and restart the server to apply changes instantly. Alternatively, you can type welcome reload in the console to hot-reload the configuration without restarting the server.
