Mobelution

A zombie mod inspired by the zombies from world war z and i am legend. The goal is to make minecraft zombies much more scary and deadly.

Zombies have new unique skills they gain overtime. Zombies evolve and gain more skills so your always on your toes.

Mobility
Leap (pounce)
Vault (parkour over obstacles)
Crawl (prone through 1-block gaps)
Dig (break blocks to reach you)
Strafe / Dodge / Projectile-dodge
Aggression
Frenzy (sprint charge)
Swipe (knockback lunge)
Latch (cling, slow, gnaw)
Screech (rally roar buffing the pack)
Cunning
Ambush (freeze when watched, stalk when unseen)
Feign death (play dead, spring up)
Mimicry (copy player actions live)
Loot & Throw (pick up dropped items, wield or hurl them)
Sun-flee (seek shade by day)

Horde behavior & counterplay

• Light hunting & light fear — at night these dark seeking creatures come out, they will avoid you if you are near any light source but attack as soon as you stray too far.

• Pile climbing & wall climbing — they climb over each other and can even crawl on walls to reach their targets.

Spawning

These zombies spawn naturally however there are lots of config options for you to setup to change the experience

Configuration

~30 live-tunable options in mobelution-common.toml: evolution knobs (pool size, mutation rate, breed chance), horde toggles (hearing radius, light hunting/fear,
pile/wall climb, dig hardness cap), nemesis scaling, spawn replacement, and insane mode.
