You must put the incapacitated.json (packaged inside the datapack) inside of your .minecraft/config folder for this datapack to work.

SINGLEPLAYER ONLY (this datapack is extremely simple, so I am sure if someone really wants to use this in multiplayer they can just modify the datapack to work in multiplayer)

This is a datapack that alters the way death works with the mod Incapacitated. In Incapacitated, when you die you are "downed", and can be revived by a teammate or through other means. This datapack uses this functionality to make an automated self-revive with a cooldown, and drawbacks.

Recommended to set mobGriefing to false.

When downed, you are invulnerable, immobile, and can't attack. The first time you are downed, after 10 seconds you will be revived and will explode, damaging and pushing away mobs near you. You will be given strong regeneration and resistance for 15 seconds, plus glowing for two minutes. When the glowing runs out, you will be given a weak poison for three minutes and slowness for 8 minutes. Once the slowness wears off, you will be able to be revived again, but if you die at any point between being revived and the slowness wearing off, you will immediately die.

This modpack is extremely simple, so it shouldn't be a problem to modify anything you want to change.
