Algorithm Meter ?
Your gameplay is content. The algorithm is always watching.
Algorithm Meter turns your Minecraft session into a live "Audience Retention Score" (0–100%). Every action you take — fighting, mining, parkouring, exploring — either hypes up the algorithm or bores it. Keep the score high for powerful loot and buffs. Let it hit 0% and face the consequences.
? How It Works
Your retention score starts at 50% and changes every second based on what you do. A boss bar at the top of the screen shows your current score, tier, and active combo multiplier.

Combos ?
Hype actions back-to-back build a combo multiplier (up to x3.5). The more you chain within ~6 seconds, the bigger your rewards. Getting bored resets your combo to zero.

- Algorithm's Blessing: Speed II, Luck, Resistance for 60s
- Rare loot drops at your feet (Heavy Core, enchanted books, golden apples, totems, netherite)
- Score resets to 50% to restart the cycle
- Server broadcast announces your achievement
Every 10% gained
- Random mid-OP reward: OP bows, tridents, elytras, beacons, netherite tools, shulker boxes, enchanted apples, and more!
0% — "RETAIN!"
- Warden heartbeat + sonic boom sounds
- Dark red title + nausea + slowness
- One random catastrophe strikes:

- Comeback Bonus: climb back above 25% to get +10% retention + Regeneration + Speed
? Boss Kills
Kill the Wither, Ender Dragon, or Warden for ultra-OP rewards:
- Full Netherite gear with Level 50 enchantments
- Sharpness 50, Protection 50, Efficiency 50, Fortune 50
- Mending, Unbreaking, Thorns, Feather Falling on everything
- Plus Strength V + Resistance IV buffs
- Server-wide announcement

Works on dedicated servers — the core runs server-side. Players without the client mod will miss the inventory penalty feature but everything else works fine.

Nearly every value is tweakable in config/algorithmmod.json or via /algorithm config:
- All hype rewards and boredom penalties
- Combo window, max level, and step size
- Grace periods for idle/container/inventory
- Catastrophe cooldown
- Comeback bonus amount
- Feature toggles for broadcasts, glow effect, beacon beam, boss bar, passive buffs, catastrophes, blessing, parkour, MLG, enemy combos, meter rewards, and boss rewards
