Just in case there weren't enough grave mods, here's my take!

With this datapack, when you die, rather than dropping all over the ground, your items will be safely stored in a barrel until you pick them up. Unlike other grave mods, some items (specified by the item tag "serious_deaths:keep_on_death") will be kept with the player - by default this is all equipment like swords, tools and armour. Items can then be reclaimed by right clicking the barrel.

The goal of this datapack was to make dying less punishing, and for me as a fun introduction to survival-friendly datapacking. It's packaged as a datapack for minimal effort to install (and because it's the only medium I know :p ).
