Nine Chunks is a challenging survival mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that transforms the Overworld into nine unique chunks surrounded by an endless void.

Each of the nine chunks has its own independently generated layers. Every layer from Y=90 down to the bottom of the world consists of a randomly selected vanilla block, while the lowest layer is always bedrock. Unbreakable and technical blocks are excluded, but water, lava, enchanting tables, and beacons can appear.

To help you begin your adventure, the world includes a safe starting platform, one oak tree, and a chest containing a starter kit. The kit includes basic stone tools, food, torches, a water bucket, and oak saplings.

If you die from falling or from the void, you will receive another starter kit after respawning. Each player can use this recovery feature up to five times.
