Via Equina

Via Equina is an addon for Via Romana that adds intelligent horseback travel along your roads.

Simply mount your horse, press the Auto Ride key, and your horse will follow the road network while you decide which direction to take at intersections by looking where you want to go.

Transform Via Romana's roads into living highways by letting your horse handle the navigation while you enjoy the ride.

Features

• Automatic horseback riding on Via Romana roads
• Follows the existing Via Romana road graph
• Chooses directions at intersections based on where the rider is looking
• Automatically stops at the end of a road
• Toggle Auto Ride on or off at any time (Bound to G)

Requirements

• Via Romana
• Neoforge 1.21.1 (If enough people want it, I can do a release for different versions)
• NOT COMPATABLE WITH HORSEMAN. MAYBE ILL DO A COMPAT IF I FIGURE IT OUT

• Horse gait system for speed (Walk, Trot, Canter, Gallop) Bound to Z & X
• Horse stamina and endurance (Currently based on horse's jump height so no new stats are involved while crossbreeding)
• Improved riding HUD (currently learning pixel art to make my own hud!)
• Additional polish and QOL
