Fault SMP is an chaos-driven Minecraft survival experience where reality itself is controlled by the highest bidder. Every week, players compete at The Core Altar by right-clicking it to deposit 15 XP levels per bid; once the auction concludes via /endauction, the highest bidder (checked anytime with /checkwinner) unlocks /choosephysics to select the server's global rules for the next seven days—ranging from lowgravity, highgravity, speed, jump, giant, tiny, health, and reach, to game-changing rules like nofall damage or bouncy falls. Server operators can set up the altar at any time using /givealtar, wipe who has received the guidebook using /resetguidebooks, or revert the world to vanilla mechanics using /choosephysics reset, while every player can easily claim a fresh instruction guide whenever needed by simply running /guidebook.
