MaceLevels is a progression-based PvP plugin for Paper and Folia servers that transforms the vanilla mace into a powerful weapon that evolves as you fight. Every player starts with a Level 0 Normal Mace and earns upgrades by defeating other players. Each successful kill increases the mace's level, unlocking stronger enchantments, custom model data, and a unique identity as players climb through the progression system.

Every upgrade feels rewarding, while death comes with a real consequence. If a player dies, their progression is reset and they respawn with a fresh Level 0 mace, creating a balanced risk-versus-reward gameplay loop that encourages both aggressive combat and careful survival.

To preserve progression and prevent exploits, custom maces cannot be dropped, enchanted, or modified using anvils or grindstones. Every custom mace also includes the Curse of Vanishing, ensuring powerful weapons cannot be easily passed between players after death.

The ultimate goal is to obtain the legendary God Mace, the most powerful weapon in the progression tree. Only one God Mace can exist on the server at any given time, making it a truly unique prize and a symbol of dominance.
