Asketmc (VCraft RPG) is a hardcore survival-RPG Minecraft server for players who take survival seriously.

Active since 2012, the project is aimed at mature Russian-speaking players from RU/CIS who value personal achievement, long-term fair progression, and meaningful consequences. There is no pay-to-win and no instant teleportation.

World and Lore

The game takes place in Heimur, a flat world carried through time on the back of a giant turtle. The current disk, Eldros, is a low-fantasy setting with late-medieval technology. Gunpowder and ancient magic were lost in a catastrophe, and survivors rebuild the world piece by piece.

The lore is deep but optional: you can simply survive, or explore the history behind the Four Spirits — Gilford, SeiSin, Tenur, and Asket, the spirit of Life, Death, and Time.

Hardcore Survival

Survival is systemic, not artificial.

• Body temperature: climate, altitude, season, time of day, rain, wet clothes, fire, and shelter all matter. Overheating and freezing apply penalties.
• Four seasons: each year has spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Crops, wild plants, day length, and temperature change by season and region.
• Nutrition: food variety matters. Repeating the same meals gives diminishing returns, while a balanced diet slowly improves your character.

Real Consequences

• Death matters: you lose part of your trained skills and drop items. When lives run out, the story continues through an heir who inherits only part of the predecessor’s abilities.
• Karma and PvP: killing peaceful players damages reputation. Bandits can become wanted targets with rewards.
• Nemesis system: enemies adapt to repeated damage types, forcing you to change tactics.

Dangerous World

• Server events include heatwaves, cold snaps, fog, spore storms, toxic rain, northern lights, and rare meteor storms.
• Mining is risky: unsupported stone can collapse, but skilled miners can detect and prevent cave-ins.
• Anomalies offer choices, clues, and consequences instead of random instant death.
• Magic leaves traces through Aetheric Pollution, which builds up and requires cleansing.
• Elite monsters and world bosses must be reached on foot.
• The Nether is a serious challenge: Piglins are hostile, gold only buys time, and every Nether creature is stronger than surface enemies.

Fair Progression

• No teleport commands: no /sethome or instant travel. Navigation relies on a traveler’s journal showing direction and distance.
• Deep character systems: professions, attributes, armor mastery, alchemy with hidden ingredient properties, and character traits define long-term development.
• Codex: an in-game encyclopedia in Russian and English unlocks knowledge as you discover the world.

Settlements and Companions

The economy is barter-based, using resources, gemstones, and shared treasuries instead of money. Towns and provinces run on Towny and grow through resource nodes.

Solo players are supported by Echo, a spirit companion that warns of danger, and a hireable base guard who protects your home while you are away.

How to Start

Entry is open: no whitelist and no custom launcher. Registration is handled in-game with /register and /login. The required resource pack is loaded automatically by the client.

Wipes happen only during major core updates, usually once every 3–5 years, so progress can last for years.

Asketmc is slow, demanding, and fair survival for mature players who value preparation, consequences, and a long character story.
