Randomize skills and stats for mobs, keeping the vanilla touch. 1000+ variants, no resourcespack, discrete changes, balanced tweaks, scaled difficulty.

Default Difficulty is set on EASY (because you're a weak human)

Use Gorify for more bloody fight!

Main features

  • Mobs get random skills and effects, making thousands of possibility.
  • 3 difficulty levels: easy to discover, medium to play, hard to challenge. Default: EASY.
  • Increased chances of getting more skills ands stats by increasing the datapack's difficulty in the options.
  • Compatibility with a list of compatible mob datapacks.
  • Hard difficulty can be really challenging (easy difficulty is vanilla like level).
  • Affinity system: mob can get a stat buff (+20% on damage, speed, knockback or max_health). 3% chance of being an ALPHA, getting every stat buffs. Or Weak, getting no buff.
  • Totem of Weakness: craft and lit the totem to secure an area. Monsters can't be enhanced in this area of protection.
  • Custom Names: mobs get a rarity and an affinity in their name.
  • 300+ of configurable parameters in the ingame options menu (patreon version).
  • WARNINGS: due to health modifications, most of AUTO FARMS are broken, or have to be reworked. Craft a "Totem of Weakness" and place it near your auto-farm to fix it.

Totem of Weakness

Craft and lit the Totem of Weakness to create a safe area. Mobs in this area cannot be enhanced, making them completly vanilla. Once they have been touched by the beacon, they can no longer be enhanced.
Useful for mob farm and player bases.

/!\ The totem won't despawn when active BUT mobs can steal it. So, protect it!

Cave Spider **Stats** - similar to vanilla - stick to ceilings (by renaming) - can be summoned by a Spider Mother (see Spider mob) **Skills** - Toxic: repeating bites give nausea (rng) Creeper **Stats** - quicker - random Fuse time +/-20% - random Explosion Radius +/- 1 **Skills** - Bait: play a sound behind the player and rush at them (rng) - Baby: get a 1 block size (rng) - Unstable: explode on damage, whatever the distance (rng) - Powered: get powered by lightning (1-3%) (rng) Drowned **Stats** - similar to vanilla **Skills** - HitSlow: slow players on hit (rng) - FireResistance: do not burn in daylight (rng) Enderman **Stats** - similar to vanilla **Skills** - LookFreeze: lock players's movement on eyes battle (rng) - LookBreak: Destroy defensive roofs (only smooth block #mineable/shovel) (rng) - Vortex: may force players into the void, teleporting them nearby randomly (rng) Evoker **Stats** - quicker, more tanky - invoked Vex will be upgraded by the pack (see Vex mob) **Skills** - Root: lock movements of nearby players (rng) - Group Heal: apply a Regeneration effect on nearby allies (rng) Hoglin **Stats** - way more tanky, faster **Skills** - Hotblood: is immune to zombification (rng) - Stomp: push player in the ground (rng) Husk **Stats** - way more tanky, slower **Skills** - Passive Regeneration (rng) - HitSlow: buff nearby husk whith speed on successful attack on a player (rng) - BreakTorch: can break torches (rng) - BreakFence: can break wooden fences/gates (rng) - BreakDoor: can break wooden doors (rng) Illusioner **Stats** - similar to vanilla - may hide as a passive mob in Pillager Outpost, revealed on hit (10%) (rng) **Skills** - EnchantedBow: have a punch enchant (rng) - Heal: can heal himself with magic (rng) Piglin **Stats** - a bit quicker - can be turned into a piglin brute (rng) **Skills** - Axe: use an axe instead of a crossbow (rng) - Tracker: chase you from far away (rng) - Trap: place a trap on the ground (rng) Piglin Brute **Stats** - more tanky, more damage, quicker **Skills** - Armored: get heavy armor (rng) - Shield: get a shield and can pary most arrows (rng) - Rage: rush you on damage taken, after a quick moment of immobility (rng) Pillager **Stats** - similar to vanilla **Skills** - FireRocket: sometimes fire with blue firework rockets (rng) - MultiShot: has a Multishot enchant (rng) - QuickCharge: has a Quick Charge enchant (rng) - IllegalCrossbow: get a renamed item if got the 2 enchants above. How to...

Change mobs difficulty Difficulty is automaticly set to EASY. Unless you want to change that. - Check the ingame menu with ```/function fkbm:options/get``` - Then found the BaseDifficulty option (first line) - click on the [edit] button and change the number as you wish From Diff 1, up to 3. 4 is "auto", copying the world's diff. Pro tip: hover the option with your mouse to get description infos. ```/scoreboard players set BaseDifficulty fkbm.options 4``` Inscrease ALPHA spawn chance (patreon version required) Default spawn chance is 3%. Alpha does not increase skill chances (BaseDifficulty does, see above), just statistics. - Check the ingame menu with ```/function fkbm:options/get``` - Click on the [​Affinity menu] buttonhen - Click on the second Affinity.Alpha.Chance [​edit] button, and change the 3 for a [​0 to 100]. ```/scoreboard players set Affinity.Alpha.Chance fkbm.options 3``` Disable MobGriefing of the pack Some skills might use mob griefing, putting cobwebs or breaking dirt... Most of it is removed, automaticaly replaced by air when players go away. But if you want absolutly prevent this, use this option. It will disable all griefing related skills. - Check the ingame menu with ```/function fkbm:options/get``` - Find the MobGriefing option (third line) - Click on the [​edit] button and change the 3 for a [0 to 3] 0: disabled. 1: soft (only auto removed ones). 2: full (no restriction). 3: auto (copy gamerule, set to 1 or 2) ```/scoreboard players set MobGriefing.Enable fkbm.options 0``` Enable Nightmare levels - Check the ingame menu with ```/function fkbm:options/get``` - Click on the [​Nightmare menu] button - Click on the first NightmareBaseLvl [​edit] button, and change the 0 for a [​0 to 100] Each level of nightmare increases: health +5%, damage +2%, speed +0.2%. ```/scoreboard players set NightmareBaseLvl fkbm.options 10``` Or enable progressive nightmare levels (default: from 0 to 100, increase 1% per minute, +1% per kill, /2 on death). ```/scoreboard players set NightmareAutoLvlUp fkbm.options 1``` Hide / disable all mob's custom names - Check the ingame menu with ```/function fkbm:options/get``` - Click on the [Cname menu] button - Click on the first Cname [edit] button, and change the 1 for a 0 ```/scoreboard players set Cname fkbm.options 0```

To make my pack ignore a mob, add this tag on it: **fkbm.ignore** , or add the conventionnal **global.ignore**, **smithed.entity** or **smithed.strict** . To disable custom name for a mob, add **fkbm.no_customname** tag to the entity. Mod Version Mod packaging is designed to be more convenient for your installations. Executed on the server side, it does not need to be installed on the client side. Keep in mind that inside the mod is simply a datapack. In addition, interactions between too many mods can degrade the functioning of one or more mods. Issue / Bug - Entities Lock in place: some entities (skeletons, wither skeletons) might have trouble with path finding when using a weapon they're not supposed to use.
