MERC-Front Network

The MERC-Front Network is the official server network for the MERC-Front Modpack.

MERC-Front is a community-run, third-party Minecraft server network built around BlockFront, featuring its own dedicated modpack. The network focuses on FPS-style, match-based combat with class-based loadouts and objective-driven game modes. Matches take place across a wide variety of custom maps with themes ranging from historical settings (including WWII) to sci-fi and experimental environments, depending on the maps and events being hosted.

Game Modes

The network supports multiple multiplayer game modes, including:

• Domination
• Free For All
• Team Deathmatch
• Gun Game
• Trouble Town
• Infected

Each mode offers a different gameplay experience, encouraging both tactical team play and fast-paced combat.

Classes

Players can select from several gameplay classes, each with its own role and equipment during matches:

• Rifle
• Lt. Rifle
• Assault
• Support
• Medic
• Sniper
• Gunner
• Anti-Tank
• Commander
• Specialist Class coming soon!

These classes allow teams to coordinate strategies and create varied combat scenarios.

Maps

Currently there are over 24 playable maps each with its own layout and theme, with more on the way.

Current Network Setup

On our network you can currently either play the different game modes or build maps for matchmaking in creative. Though axcess to map building is limited and you have to get whitelisted (there is no whitelist for the normal matchmaking / gamemodes). We are currently actively looking for community members who are interested in helping design and build maps. (to get whitelisted for the building server you have to join our Discord)

Events and Player Activity

The project is still growing, and the player base is currently small.
