No delay between hits anymore, just like 1.8!

You can still use the offhand, shields, crossbows, etc… and any other mechanic after 1.8

Multiplayer Compatible!

Axes:

Axes have been nerfed back to their original 1.8 damage (with the exception of netherite axe obviously):

• Wooden Axe: 3
• Golden Axe: 3
• Stone Axe: 4
• Iron Axe: 5
• Diamond Axe: 6
• Netherite Axe: 7

Blocking

You can now block with any sword, just like 1.8!

Blocking reduces any attack damage towards the player by 40% and reduces the knock-back in half

Enabling/disabling the mechanic with a simple command!

Do NOT use /datapack disable without first disabling the 1.8 mechanic!

Enable (is on by default)

/function instant_pvp:enable

Disable

/function instant_pvp:disable

Switching between the two will automatically:

• Change the attack speed of players
• Enable/Disable the blocking ability of swords
• Change the damage dealt by axes.
