资源介绍

Sengoku Minecraft is an immensely detailed data pack/resource pack that overhauls vanilla Minecraft into the world of Japanese history, culture, and mythology. Re-themeing elements such as biomes, mobs, items, weapons, blocks, structures, recipes, sounds, music, and much more.

I HEED YOUR CALLS, I HAVE DITCHED OPTIFINE! UNFORTUNATELY, THAT MEANS I MUST RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO INSTALL THE MODS BELOW:

If you want the cool skybox

These mods require these libraries

I'm sure a lot of you guys have some of these anyway, so hopefully it won't be that hard :)

Recommended but optional compatible mods

Or just download this modrinth modpack.

BIOMES

Overworld ## OVERWORLD > _The Minecraft Overworld is meant to represent the real world and its environment types. Enviroments Japan doesn't have lol. And since the whole point of this project is to both expand and reduce Minecraft into Japan, that means no deserts, savannas, red-rock canyons, icebergs, or rich jungles (They have sub-tropical forests at best)._ > Japan's natural landscape is mostly dominated by temperate forests and mountainous regions. This will make the diversity of biomes and climates smaller but better fit the narrative for this project; which is to trick you into thinking youre in Japan. And I can't pull that off when you spawn right between Canyonlands National Park Utah, The Amazon Rainforest, and the Arabian Desert. However I'm not just deleting biomes and calling it a day (Except for the Frozen Ocean, the icebergs are hardcoded in). I have overhauled these biomes into something completley new, for example the Badlands has been reworked into the Sanguine Forest. The orange red-rock and sand has been substituted to regular stone and grass, but have transformed into a autumnal temperate forest with rich warm colors. I've also divided the biomes by seasonal characteristics, allowing the transition between biomes to feel more natural and less jarring. Her husband, Izanagi, fueled by grief, marched down to retrieve her in Yomi, the land of the dead. The place where all who die make home."_ > Yomi, also known as the Land of the Dead, is the replacement for the Nether dimension. While being virtually identical to the Vanilla Nether, the flaming hot visuals have been replaced with a cold blueish-green to personify the world of darkness much more effectively. This realm is home to many yokai such as the Shikome, Keneō, Okubi, Yurei, Datsue-ba, Wa nyūdō, and Katawaguruma. Homes can be found along the Sanzu River, containing lost souls known as Shiryō, who will trade and sell valuable Yomi artifacts.  **NOTE FOR SHADER USERS:  You may have to configure your shaders if you want to gain this misty blue color palette.** Sanzu River (Nether Wastes) ![Sanzu River (Nether Wastes)](https://i.imgur.com/4BqfzAv.png) Soul of Kagutsuchi (Basalt Deltas) ![Soul of Kagutsuchi (Basalt Deltas)](https://i.imgur.com/ElHmU94.png) Wisteria Grove (Crimson Forest) ![Wisteria Grove (Crimson Forest)](https://i.imgur.com/rMrXQTb.png) Weeping Forest (Warped Forest) ![Weeping Forest (Warped Forest)](https://i.imgur.com/z1aoafi.png) Soul Sand Valley ![Soul Sand Valley](https://i.imgur.com/gcND5k4.png) The End ## Ryugu-jo > _"Ryūgū is a fantastical palace that appears in many legends and folktales. It is the primary residence of the dragon god of the sea and his daughter Otohime, and is home to the ocean’s royal court. The palace is populated by aquatic creatures who wear human clothing and have a society which mirrors that of the human world." -Yokai.com_ Ryūgū-jō is the alternate of the End dimension of this data and resource pack. Replacing the Ender Dragon with the great Sea Dragon known as Ryūjin. One of the more notable changes is that the previous void of the End has been flooded with a vast ocean filled with coral and other ocean life.  **NOTE FOR SHADER USERS:  I don't recommend shaders for this dimension. A lot of shader packs cater to the vanilla end and often block out the cool skybox.** Ryūgū-jō (The End) ![Ryūgū-jō (The End)](https://i.imgur.com/a8xp0Fv.png) Ryūgū-jō Reef (End Midlands) ![Ryūgū-jō Reef(End Midlands)](https://i.imgur.com/YeHU2T4.png) Ryūgū-jō Highlands (End Highlands) ![Ryūgū-jō Highlands(End Highlands)](https://i.imgur.com/xLSFH0q.png) Ryūgū-jō Ocean (End Barrens) ![Ryūgū-jō Ocean (End Barrens)](https://i.imgur.com/HByJVb8.png) Small Reef Islands (Small End Islands) ![Small Reef Islands (Small End Islands)](https://i.imgur.com/E6miLxa.png)

EXPECTED QUESTIONS W/ ANSWERS:

"Why can't I craft X?":

Some Crafting Recipes have been changed to better fit the theme or just for QoL purposes. Here are the changes:

Recipes
Recipes
Recipes

Sorry if there is any confusion!

"Why are creepers mice now? They're so small I can barely see them! >:( are you stupid?":

The Kodama Nezumi is a type of yokai that is described as a regular ball mouse that swells up and explodes upon contact. The only yokai I could think of that could be equivalent to the Creeper. Their hitboxes remain the same, however it is now easier for them to sneak up on you due to the dramatic grass textures and their size. To counter this I made it so this mob has the lowest base HP of any mob so you can quickly defuse them when caught. I also lowered their spawn chances to make it less annoying. For you gunpowder farmers, I have made gunpowder a craftable item in response.

"Biome changes have made X block unobtainable.":

With Changes to "western" biomes. Blocks like Terracotta and Cactuses no longer spawn naturally. However, I did make changes that make up for it.

Terracotta can be purchased in large numbers from the Tinsmith Villagers
Cocoa Beans and Cactuses can be found in chests in some villages.
Note: Green dye is now made from yellow + blue dye instead of smelting cactuses.
All Purpur Blocks can be found in chests in Ryūgū-jō (End City) structures.
Red Sand can be found in chests of Burnt Plains Villages
