AltarSMP is a fully custom Minecraft SMP plugin featuring a complete remake of the original AltarSMP experience. This includes Arc 5 with all legendary weapons, the vampire/pale/human faction system with King roles and permanent True conversions, custom events, copper armor and tools, and much more.

Note: LibsDisguises are required for the plugin to work correctly.

Weapons

Faction System

Five classes with different stats, effects, and exclusive crafts:

Conversion rules:

• Killed by a vampire → Vampire (unless protected)
• Killed by a pale (after /pale activation) → Pale
• Killed by Nightpiercer → True Vampire (perma_vampire, locked)
• Killed by Pale Crossbow → True Pale (perma_pale, locked)
• Killed by Hyperion while cursed → True Human (perma_human, locked)
• True statuses block all conversion paths in both directions

All values (king health, vampire/pale health, night effect levels, backstab multiplier, rain weakness level, perma toggle, craft gates) are configurable in config.yml.

MythicWeapons (Addon)

When the MythicWeapons plugin is installed, 6 additional mythic-tier weapons become available with their own altar crafting system, custom 3D models, and VFX abilities. Commands and GUIs integrate automatically — /legendaries adds a second page, /cooldown and /altar work across both plugins.

Copper Armor Set

4-piece armor with unique abilities per piece:

• Helmet — Copper Vision: hold Shift to strike nearby players with lightning
• Chestplate — Thunder Thorns: every 7 hits triggers AoE lightning
• Leggings — Shockwave: fall damage converts to AoE around you
• Boots — Blazing Trail: permanent Speed III with fire particle trail

Altar Crafting

Weapons aren't just given — they're crafted at interactive altars with floating item displays and holograms showing recipes. Players gather materials (shards, heads, cores) and interact with the altar to forge their weapon. Faction-restricted altars (Hyperion / Nightpiercer / Pale Crossbow) check the player's class before allowing the craft.

Features

• Simple controls — F for ability 1, Shift+F for ability 2. Passives are automatic.
• Fully configurable — every cooldown, damage value, potion duration, enchantment level, faction stat, and craft gate is editable in config.yml
• Eclipse Revamp — toggle between classic and revamped Eclipse/Striker abilities via config
• Weapon protection — legendary weapons can't be stored in chests, burned, or placed in ender chests
• Balanced PvP — ability immunity system with separate victim/attacker cooldowns prevents combo stacking
• Faction system — Vampire King, Vampires, Plague Doctor, Pales, and Humans with class-exclusive crafts and permanent True conversions via signature weapons
• Trust system — prevent friendly fire on teammates
• Built-in events — Copper Trials (helmet fragments, boots bingo, leggings core, chestplate shards)
• True damage — certain abilities bypass armor for consistent, fair damage
• MythicWeapons integration — detects MythicWeapons plugin for shared /legendaries GUI, /cooldown, and /altar commands
• Admin tools — give weapons, spawn altars, manage cooldowns, set kills, mass whitelist, in-game config editor, set/clear faction tags including True statuses

Admins: /altarsmp give, weapon commands, altar spawning, /pvp, /destroyaltars, /cooldown <player>, /setkills <bloodlust|knightfall> <player> <kills>, /coppertrial, /copperdiamondarmor, /setvampire <player>, /setvampireking <player>, /settruevampire <player>, /setpale <player>, /setpaleking <player>, /sethuman <player> (or /removecurse), /clearperma <player> [vampire|pale|human|all], /pale (activate global pale system)
