Astral is a supplementary mod and origins addon intended to be used with Astral SMP.

Currently, the mod provides the following changes to vanilla gameplay:

• Cactus, nether wart, and sugar cane can be bone-mealed.
• Pet parrots can be healed with seeds.
• Mobs grow drastically stronger as you venture further away from spawn.
• Modded armor sets may now support more than two layers.
• Items may now contain the NBT tag SetGlint to force enchantment glint to be enabled or disabled.
• Lightning bolts may now contain the NBT tag PreserveItems to prevent them from destroying ground items.

It also adds the following powers / actions / conditions to origins:

• astral:modify_scale, which is used to control the size, motion, and reach of a player.
• astral:repeat, which allows any action to be repeated multiple times.
• astral:moon_phase, which checks the current phase of the moon.
• astral:distance, which checks the entity's distance from a position (because the Origins implementation crashes our server lol).

Astral also adds the following content:

• Dyed amethyst blocks and clusters.
• A "randomizer" redstone block, which, when powered, outputs a random comparator signal.
• Cloud fluff and cotton, as well as cotton candy.
• A set of dye-able armor that gives either jump boost or slowness depending on how wet it is.
• A mirror (used in one of the server's origins).
• A data-driven currency system with random rewards and automatic item exchanging.
• A number of custom item models.
