DinoBrik's Species Datapack

Welcome to the DinoBrik's Species Datapack for Minecraft 1.21! It allows you to transform into one of ten unique races, each with their own distinct traits and abilities. This datapack requires no mods, just plain vanilla Minecraft. Enhance your gameplay experience with these exciting new species!

Race Selection

Upon installation, players must choose a race by typing /trigger in chat. If you prefer no changes, select Human to maintain standard gameplay. Once your race is chosen, you'll experience new abilities, sizes, and characteristics.

Do /tag @s remove SetRace to be able to change the race. Replace @s` with player name for multiplayer.

Aaracockra

• Abilities: Permanent elytra, reduced fall speed and damage, higher jump.
• Special: Squack ability boosts upward movement for quick escapes.

Dwarf

• Abilities: Double hearts, faster block breaking, immunity to poison.
• Special: Regen effect from mining diamonds, increased fall damage, can fit in one block spaces when sneaking.

Elf

• Abilities: Increased speed and jump boost when holding a bow, self-healing by sneaking.
• Special: Aim assist with bows, turning them into powerful melee weapons.

Giant

• Abilities: Triple hearts, massive damage, natural knockback, faster mining speed. They are 4 blocks tall, and 2 blocks wide.
• Special: Increased fall damage, cannot ride boats or horses.

Goblin

• Abilities: Speed boost, item magnet with bundles, invisibility when sneaking with a bundle.
• Special: Various effects from holding gems, reduced reach.

Minotaur

• Abilities: Increased attack damage, ability to charge for devastating blows.
• Special: Debuffs from touching water, avoid water for best performance.

Myconid

• Abilities: Immunity to poison, wither, hunger, and blindness.
• Special: Absorption when standing on mushroom blocks, spore attack debuffing mobs.

Pixie

• Abilities: Permanent elytra, boosted jumps, high regeneration. Only 3 hearts.
• Special: Immune to low-damage mobs, greatly reduced fall damage.

Sahuagin

• Abilities: Faster underwater movement and mining, adapt to ocean life.
• Special: Temporary speed and jump boost when wet, debuffs when dry, fire accelerates drying.

Satyr

• Abilities: Incredible speed, block traversal like slabs, high jumps for cliff traversal.
• Special: Wither effect in fire, buffs from goat horns or standing on a jukebox.
