quick-pack

A simple mod to optimize datapack / resourcepack zip file loading times. It scales particularly well for zips with many files, but also yields faster loading times for small resource packs.

quick-pack vs vanilla

This is a comparison between loading the resource pack generated by polymania v0.6.2 with quick-pack vs without it (vanilla). Polymania generates a 44.3MiB zip file with 60369 entries inside!

quick-pack finishes after 2 seconds, while vanilla needs 36 seconds!
