Survivor’s Delight — TFC × FD Compatibility

Make Farmer’s Delight cooking feel native in TerraFirmaCraft worlds. This mod bridges FD’s workflow with TFC’s heat system and food traits without breaking existing progression.

Features

Skillet

• Skillet blocks read real heat from below: Skillets cook based on the actual temperature of the TFC heat source beneath it (e.g., firepit). When the target temperature is reached, the dish is produced.
  • TFC Heating recipes support: the Skillet prioritize TFC Heating logic (and applies the "SKILLET_COOKED" trait).
  • Instead of cooking the ingredient one by one, skillet blocks heat all the stack at the same time. (But you can still only heat up one item when using it in your hand.)
• Slot cap: Skillet input slot is limited (default: 8) to better fit TFC pacing.
• Skillet has different TFC metal variants.
• Cooking with a skillet consumes its durability, but the skillet won't be broken and you can reforge it later.

Cutting Board

• Cutting board recipes now respect TFC item providers. In other words, if a ham is salted, the pork you get from cutting would still be salted as long as it has "tfc:copy_food" as its modifier.
• Furniture salvaging: the mod provides vanilla FD-like wood furniture salvaging recipes for TFC woods.

Stove

• Stove now needs fuel to burn. The fuel amount of a stove block will show up in the middle of screen when you hold a fuel and look at it.
• Stove blocks can keep burning while consuming fuel in a very slow rate, unless it is used to cook something.
• Stove can heat up oven top, pot, and vat if you have firmalife installed

Food

• Feast and Pie blocks now have a blockentity to track its food properties.
  • Rotten blocks will look greenish as rotten items do.
• Rotten foods no longer provide benificial mob effect.
• Nourishment effect now really negates the food exhaustion. (It didn't because TFC totally rewrites the food mechanism.)
• Dog food gives extra familiarity to wolves, and it only gives buffs to tamed dogs when the familiarity is not less than the adult cap(default 35).

Rich Soil

• The growth boosting effect of rich soil is adjusted to fit TFC; it can reduce wait time for a tree sapling to be ready, but can no longer boost it to full growth in merely several minutes.
• Rich soil can randomly generates mushrooms on top of itself.
• Rich soil farmland now supports TFC crops growth.
• Rich soil farmland expands the valid climate range of the crop planted on it with a configurable.
