Transform your world with magical lighting that responds to the items themselves. This datapack creates a passive lighting system where dropped items naturally emit light based on their inherent properties.

How It Works

When you drop certain magical items, they automatically illuminate their surroundings with light appropriate to their nature:

• Nether Stars - Brilliant radiance (brightest)
• Glowstone Dust - Warm, steady glow
• Blaze Rods - Flickering fiery luminescence
• Ender Pearls - Eerie teal shimmer
• Magma Cream - Pulsing heat glow (dimmest)

Creative Applications

• Exploration - Create temporary lighting during cave expeditions
• Decoration - Scatter glowing items for atmospheric ambiance
• Mob Farming - Strategically place light sources to control spawn areas
• Building - Add magical lighting effects to your constructions

The lighting persists until items are picked up or naturally despawn. The system uses efficient light block placement with automatic cleanup to maintain smooth performance while adding enchanting realism to your materials.
