Ride tame Ender Dragons with your friends!

This datapack introduces rideable Ender Dragons.

Tame ender dragons can be summoned by players by using the Book Of Dragons provided in the data pack. For help with using the data pack players type /trigger rd_help in chat.

There is an admin menu to control aspects of the data pack available via /function ridedragon:admin in chat. This is only available to OPs. The menu controls:

• How a player can obtain the Book of Dragons. Disabled by default
• If a dragon can be summoned without the Book of Dragons. Disabled by default.
• If players can fire dragon fireballs by holding an ender crystal in their main hand. Disabled by default.
• The initial health of the summoned dragon. Set to 5 by default.

Note:

It is recommended to combine this data pack with the "Anti Ender Dragon Grief" data pack by Dragon3025 to not accidentally erase parts of the world while flying. No mods are required on the server or client. The data pack is only required on the server, not client side.

This datapack was inspired by the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBUknTYjylc&t=284s by John
Paul Inso. That design was not safe for multiple simultaneous players.
