? All-New Fishing Minigame

When a fish bites, the real fun begins! A new minigame interface will appear, where you'll need to prove your reflexes and timing. Keep the indicator within the target zone to successfully reel in your catch. Master the minigame to land better and rarer fish!

? The Fish Bag

Haul in the catch! Introducing the Fish Bag—a special item that helps you store your fish separately from your main inventory.

No more worrying about your inventory getting clogged with fish. It starts with a generous 54 slots and can be upgraded up to 9 times, reaching a massive final capacity of 540 slots! The bag also features a handy bar that shows you how full it is at a glance.

? The Fish Book

Become a master angler! The Fish Book allows you to keep track of every unique fish you catch. It's the perfect companion for completionists who want to discover and document every type of fish the world has to offer.

? Villager Trading

Your hard-earned fish crates now have more value! Trade them with the Fisherman villager for a dynamic price in emeralds. The heavier the crate, the more you'll earn!

? New Advancements

Put your fishing skills to the test with a series of new advancements. From making your first catch to collecting every fish, there are new goals to challenge even the most seasoned anglers.

Should you encounter any compatibility issues, please do not hesitate to contact us! Please Notice: This mods Minigame is Not Compatible with other mod that add fishing minigames or with Mods that Change the Dropped Fish to an Entity. If you want to use Mods that implement other fishing minigames, please Disable this one in the Config!!!

Also, We highly Recommend Using this mod with Aquaculture 2 as we Believe the Fish they add are a Great addition! 

If you want for the Fish with higher weight / size to give more food and saturation, we recommend using the Quality Food mod!

How to Get Started

Cast Your Rod: Start fishing in any body of water, just as you normally would.
Play the Minigame: As soon as a fish bites, the minigame will launch. Press SPACE once the Blue Balls are inside the red Zone Indicator and Watch as the Fish Rises on the Indicator on the Left. If the Fish sinks too far, you will lose it. If it Reaches the Top... Tada you caught yourself your first Fish! 
Craft Your Gear: Build the Fish Bag to conveniently store your catches and the Fish Book to track your collection.
Install Fishing + today and make fishing one of the most exciting parts of your Minecraft adventure

Configuration

The fishing minigame can be disabled via the mod's config file. However, please note that this will affect some of the game's features:

• Disable Custom Trade: The custom villager trade for the fish crate can be disabled in the config.
• Disabled Success Screen: The screen that is displayed after a successful catch will no longer appear.
• No Auto-Collection: The fish bag will no longer automatically collect the caught fish. You will have to collect them manually.

This setting is ideal for players who prefer a more traditional fishing experience without the minigame, or want to use other Minigame Mods with this mod.
