Experience the Magic of the Season!

It's time to experience the magic of the season, in the Holidays & Happenings datapack! This data pack seeks to bring the spirit of the holidays to life with special holiday themed events, cosmetics, traders, and items (Only available during the season - get them while you can!). Players will experience random, large scale holiday events in which they can earn Spirit Shards! Players will can trade Spirit Shards to the Trader of Holiday Spirit for festive goodies, weapons, decor, armor, and so much more! Holiday events can transform your vanilla world into a festive paradise.

Let's not forget the Basics! Baseline Happenings happen year round regardless of the season. On rare occurrences players have a chance to receive Blessings from the legendary Notch, The Dwarf, and The Beagle. But beware! With great Blessings come great curses, The Infamous Herobrine is back with a vengeance. For the night owl in the group, keep your eyes to the sky! You might just see a Falling Star; Find the Star and collect a Spirit Shard. You also never know when you will experience the rare and lucrative Lunar Event. Lastly don't forget to craft and place Mailboxes for a chance to receive Mail and Packages every morning (Trust me, you don't want to miss out on receiving a package in the mail!)

Realms/SMP Friendly

This data pack is Realms compatible! If you fancy a multiplayer experience, simply create a single player world and add the data pack to it. Once it is created, upload the world to your realm and you are good to go!

Server Load: High Impact - Some of the custom events can be but quite the strain on the server - especially if you have a higher player count. If you plan on running multiple datapacks, I would recommend a Custom Server with more RAM.

Note: In order for your friends to experience the magic of the data pack, everybody needs to have the Resource Pack enabled and selected.

For Single Player/Host you will need to download both the Data Pack AND The Resource Pack Files

How to Install - Easy to Install Resource Pack

• Download the Resource Pack
• Open Minecraft Launcher >> Launch Game
• At Main Menu >> Select Options
• Select Resource Packs >> Open Pack Folder >> Drag the Zipped hh_resource file into this folder.
• Close the File Browser >> Toggle the file so that it is under the Selected Column.
• Good to Go! Have Fun!
• Proceed to Data Pack step below (Host/Single-Player only needs to do the Data Pack step below).

  How to Install - Easy to Install Data Pack

• Download the Data pack
• Open Minecraft Launcher >> Launch Game
• At Main Menu >> Select Single Player >> Create New World >> More Tab
• Select Data Packs >> Open Pack Folder >> Drag the Zipped hh_data file into this folder.
• Close the File Browser >> Toggle the file so that it is under the Selected Column.
• Good to Go >> You can now hit Create New World.
• Current Seasons
• Setting the season sets which holiday events will run and which traders will visit. Holiday events are large scale events which have a chance to happen every couple of days.

Current Available Seasons:

• Fall
• Winter
• Spring

This pack features Admin Control! Admins can set the season by running the following commands:

Fall:

• /function hh:season_select/fall

Winter:

• /function hh:season_select/winter

Spring:

• /function hh:season_select/spring
