A Sky Dimension mod inspired by a dream

Fluorite is an immersive adventure mod that introduces a breathtaking Aether-inspired Sky Dimension. Unlike traditional dimensional mods, Fluorite challenges players to adapt to the realm's unique natural laws, which dictate survival and progression beyond Netherite. It adds new ways to explore, build, and fight.
This mod has been developed by me in my spare time for more than five years, always being a way to put something I once dreamed of into reality.

⚡ Key Features & Mechanics

☁️ New Aether-Inspired Dimension: Realm of Dreams

Ascend into a mysterious sky realm filled with floating islands, unique biomes, new mobs, and hidden secrets around every corner.

☀️ Day & Night Biome Dynamics

The Sky reacts dynamically the world around. Resources are locked behind time or weather, which you as the player are required to work with or against.

🌬️ Atmospheric Adaptations

Traversing the floating islands requires understanding the realm's physics. Make use of your found or crafted tools and fly (or fall) through the heavenly realm.

⌛ Backported Vanilla additions

Due to the mod being on 1.20.1 (for now), most future base game additions such as Happy Ghasts, Spears or a reimagined version of the Pale Garden are included. (WIP)

📜 Post-Netherite Progression

Expand your survival journey beyond vanilla limits! Discover new tiers of gear, unique weapons, and powerful armor sets designed to help you conquer the sky's toughest challenges.

⚔️ 10 New Bosses & Enemies

Face progressively harder opponents across different biomes! Battle initial bosses for upgrade templates and challenge high-tier boss encounters to unlock secret vaults and endgame materials.

Step	Stage / Objective	Description & Key Items
01	Tree Resin & Amber	Harvest tree resin from trees and melt it down to create Amber Bars.
02	Pyronite in Nether	Cool hot Pyronite Ore in Basalt Deltas with water to mine it. Craft the Amber Lighter using Blaze Rods, Amber, Flint, and Pyronite Clumps.
03	Dimensional Gateway	Ignite a Glowstone frame with the Amber Lighter to open the portal to the Realm of Dreams.
04	Sky Ice & Cryonite	Craft a Frost Elixir (using Warm Stones from Nether Flame creatures) to enter the freezing Sky Ice biome and harvest Cryonite.
05	Obsidian Upgrade	Use Cryonite to upgrade Netherite or Ruby equipment (found at night) into durable Obsidian gear.
06	Jade Upgrades & Bosses	Battle initial bosses to obtain upgrade templates for Jade, found in the Sky Verdant biome during the day.
07	Jade Vaults & Keys	Defeat medium-tier bosses for Jade Vault Keys, unlocking secret vaults containing Astrum crafting materials.
08	Moonlight Survival	Craft Stellar Torches using Light Essence from bosses to safely navigate and mine in the pitch-black Moonlight Biome.
09	Astrum Equipment	Mine Astrum under the protection or find it rarely in dungeons to craft the next tier of weapons and armor.
10	Solarium Endgame	Defeat the final bosses set to claim Solarium Ore. Place it in sunlight to charge and harvest the ultimate endgame gear. This is only the beginning.

1. Requires Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge.
2. We highly recommend installing JEI (Just Enough Items) or REI for easy recipe lookups.
3. Step into the Nether, harvest Pyronite, and craft your Amber Lighter to begin your journey to the skies!

Will Fluorite be ported to Fabric / NeoForge? Currently, Fluorite is developed exclusively for Forge (1.20.1). Fabric/NeoForge ports are [currently not planned / planned for future updates]. Can I include Fluorite in my Modpack? Yes! Feel free to include Fluorite in any public or private modpack. (A link back to this page is appreciated!) Is this mod compatible with Shaderpacks? Yes, most shaders work great. For custom skybox shaders, ensure your shaderpack supports custom dimension skies.
