Do Not install this mod on existing worlds!! Create a new world when starting this mod, as it uses a custom dimension that will break your world if the mod is removed.

This is a Classic Minecraft/Modern Minecraft hybrid mod that recreates the style of Classic Minecraft while having the features and polish similar to modern Minecraft.

This mod works by creating a new dimension that the player stays in. All the new blocks and items are found or created within this dimension. (Dimensions such as the Overworld, End, or Nether aren't accessible during normal survival gameplay, but a gamerule is included if you want to still access these dimensions in creative).

Advancements and recipes are available to help the player progress if needed. (a mod like EMI or JEI is not required due to recipes being unlockable in the Recipe Book)

It's recommended to use the built-in Programmer Art texture pack while playing this mod.

PROGRESSION

Progression in this mod is different than vanilla Minecraft, making players explore their world to progress as well as offering a new optional tool tier that can assist in large structure construction.

Here is the progression explained in more depth:

Spoiler 1- Starting at Wood, the player uses Wooden Tools to mine Stone to create a Furnace. A Furnace with some Logs as fuel is then used to smelt Cobbled Stone into Stone for crafting. Wooden Tools have an effect where they can double drops of naturally generated blocks, allowing for more effecient mining and resource collection. 2- Players use Stone Tools to mine Coal Ore and Copper Ore. Copper is then smelted into Ingots and eventually into Blocks which are used to craft Copper Tools. While Copper can be found in most normal biomes, it is more common in Deserts. Copper Tools will automatically drop dropped items into the player's inventory rather than throwing the item on the ground. 3- With the new Copper Tools, players now mine Iron, and again is smelted into Iron Ingots and crafted into Iron Blocks to be crafted into tools. Iron can be found near the bottom of the world in most normal biomes, but is more common in the Hell biome. Iron Tools are very durable and take a long time to break. 4- Players now need to locate a Hell biome, which resembles the Nether from vanilla Minecraft. In this Hell biome, they can find Gold Ore near the bottom of the world that can be crafted into Gold Tools. 5- Gold Tools work like the Silk Touch enchantment in vanilla Minecraft, and can pick up blocks in their unedited form. Golden Tools are required to harvest Zinc from a Desert biome. 6- Zinc is then Crafted with Copper into Brass which can be used to craft Brass Tools. Brass tools are very fast, but not as durable as Iron tools. 7- Now, the player can locate a Desert Pyramid where they can use Glowing Obsidian to summon a Mummy boss. This Mummy boss can only be harmed by Gold Swords or by Gold Arrows. Once defeated, the Mummy will drop a Key. 8- The Key dropped by the Mummy can be used to unlock Locked Barrels in a Bedrock Altar. These Barrels may contain some Bedrock Tools, which have the same effeciency as Stone Tools, but will never take damage from use.
