Welcome to Classic Console Pack

Based on Minecraft 1.21.8, this modpack aims to faithfully recreate the visual aesthetic of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, using the renowned Legacy4J Studios mod as its foundation. Every texture, interface, and detail has been carefully selected to evoke the original console experience.

Project Philosophy

Classic Console Pack is not just a collection of mods—it’s a celebration of the game’s console history. Every element has been chosen to spark memories, welcome new players, and preserve the authenticity of the original experience.

Special Feature:

You can assign your preferred "toggle shaders" key to your Xbox controller (or similar) to activate shaders directly in-game. This adds a touch of fantasy without losing the classic essence. The pack also includes by default a set of PBR textures based on the Programmer Art style. Full credit goes to the creator for their excellent work!

Xbox 360 Worlds (SOON)

I recommend checking out my tutorial on how to convert a real Xbox 360 world (extracted with Xenia) to Java Edition using JE2BE. It also works for Bedrock. There I explain all the details of the process.

Credits and Acknowledgments

This modpack does not generate old-style Minecraft worlds. If you wish to recreate those worlds, I recommend using your own mods, as there is currently no fully faithful and stable generator available.
