Fly too close to the sun. You know how this ends.
Icarus Wings adds a craftable pair of wax-and-feather wings that let you glide and flap through the skies — but at a cost. The higher you fly, the closer you get to disaster.
✨ Features
- Glide through the air like an elytra
- Flap by pressing jump mid-air for an upward boost
- Wings have a flap cooldown shown by a small bar above your hotbar
- Wings melt and break under dangerous conditions
- Find them in dungeon and stronghold chests — or craft them yourself
☀️ Hazards

| Flying above Y=150 (daytime) | Wings slowly melt |
| The Nether | Wings melt quickly from the heat |
| Desert biome (daytime) | Wings degrade in the sun |
| Rain | Wings are damaged by moisture |
| Water | Wings shatter almost instantly |
| Fire | Wings burn away |

Combine feathers, honeycomb, and a stick in a shaped recipe — or risk finding a pair in a dungeon or stronghold chest.

The End is the one place your wings are truly safe — far from the sun, the wax holds.
