Description:
This pack makes it so that items will continue to tick down their despawn timers, even in unloaded chunks and other dimensions.
It also adds the ability to set a custom despawn timer duration, this can be done through the following command:
/scoreboard players set despawn_duration oszu_idl_time XXXReplace "XXX" with the desired dewpawn timer duration in ticks, 1 second is 20 ticks
The default despawn timer duration in Minecraft is 5 minutes, which is 300 seconds, which is 6000 ticks
1 minute would be 1200 ticks
