Vanilla focussed is a modpack aimed at keeping your game as vanilla as possible while increasing not just performance but your quality of life with an amazing selection of mods.

About

So why did I make this when there's tons of modpacks out there already doing the same thing? Well I believe that I know what people like me want. We love vanilla Minecraft but hate some of the things about the game. I set out to look for the best mods that didn't take away from vanilla game we all love.

Performace

Specs: GPU: 3080ti CPU: i12700k

Tests taken at 32 render distance with all settings on max quality with resolution at 1440p.

Base game. No mods (Only MiniHUD and Mod Menu)

So how come there's 2 seperate tests on the modpack? Well Nvidium is an amazing mod that "uses mesh shaders, a near fully gpu driven rendering pipeline is used, enabling very fast and performant geometry culling of terrain meaning your gpu can work much more efficiently." However this mod is optional as only certain systems can utilize it. This was taken off their page which you can visit using the link.

QOL

The main focus of this pack was not to make the game "easier" with QOL mods but rather just improve your time in the game with select mods that make the experience better. Here's some I think you'll like (List does not include all mods, just more notable ones).

Better Ping Display - Shows ping in numbers instead of bars

Better F3 - Improves the F3 screen by colourcoding and allowing you to select what you want on the screen

Boat Item View - Doesn't hide maps while rowing a boat

Borderless Mining - Fullscreen becomes borderless windowed. Handy for those with multiple monitors.

Chat Coords - Allows you to set a hotkey to past current coordinates in chat

Chat Heads - Adds player heads next to chat messages so you can see who you're chatting to

Cherished Worlds - Favourite your worlds

Chunky - Pre load chunks to reduce lag when playing a world

Death Log - See how you died and what you had on you

Held Item Info - Adds the bedrock feature that shows item enchants when holding your tool

MiniHUD - Adds a customizable HUD to your screen since using F3 can be laggy

Mouse Tweaks - Improves inventory management by adding functions to your mouse butttons

Resourcify - Adds an ingame resource pack and shader store

Screenshot To Clipboard - Allows screenshots to be copied to your clipboard

Seamless Loading Screen - Screenshots on exit allowing for seamless loading the next time you join your world

Show Me Your Skin - Allows you to hide armour on either yourself or other players

Shulker Box Tooltips - See whats in your shulkerboxes in your inventory

ToolStats - Get more information on your tools

Zoomify - Allows you to add a hotkey to zoom
