Gameplay Modes

• Mesh Mode (Default): You start with one main train, but you can build and use others as primary anchors as you progress. The tether is flexible as you upgrade.

• Hardcore Mode (Gamerule): You are strictly locked to your one starter train. You can build other trains for automation, but your soul-tether radius stays permanently fixed to that original starter engine.

About

Trackbound turns your train into your actual lifeline. You are soul-tethered to the rails, starting with a 100-block limit at spawn that only expands once you board and "DNA-lock" to a locomotive. This carriage becomes your mobile anchor and only way to survive the wasteland; stray too far, and the tether snaps you back instantly.

Designed for hardcore survival, this mod ensures your train is your base, your safe zone, and your only path forward. If your train is destroyed, you lose your link and are restricted to world spawn until you can secure a new locomotive.

Requirements & Recommendations

Required: Create Mod (Tethering logic relies on Create's carriage system).

Recommended: Xaero's Minimap (Essential for tracking your anchor and tether limits).

Features

The Tether: 100-block limit at spawn; 200-block limit around your locked train (this can be edited in gamerules).

Automatic Sync: Simply sit in a train seat to bind your DNA to it.

Survival HUD: Action-bar warnings appear as you approach the edge of your safe zone.

This project was built to compliment Railways Untold; its infinite track generation is the perfect match for the Trackbound experience, plus, who doesn't love Create trains!
