Fossils Delight

This project adds new ways to make food using dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures from Fossils and Archeology: Revival, using equipment and other foodstuff from farmer's delight.

Feature list:

Firstly, there are a lot of new food items! These are:

• proto sukiyaki
• waffles
• waffles with honey and berries
• citipati waffles
• citipati waffles with honey and berries
• ginger megalograptus
• jurassic brochette
• tiktaalik maki
• coelacanth sashimi
• meganeura tail
• leaf wrapped rice
• thawed stew
• Trilobite boil
• escamoles
• dodo scrambled eggs

The mod also now allows you to make the farmers delight items cabbage rolls, dog food and barbeque on a stick using not just regular animal meat, but dinosaur meat as well!

Recipes & Usage

As of currently, the mod adds no new cooking blocks. You can use a cooking pot for some recipes and a crafting table for some others. I recommend discovering the recipes yourself by using a mod like JEI or REI!

Purpose and why you should download this mod

One purpose of this mod is expanding on farmer's delight purpose, which is improving the current food system of minecraft. This mod extends that to not just the vanilla minecraft food system, but also the fossils and archeology food system, making modpacks with both feel more complete and consistent

The other purpose of this mod is to give more uses to the fossils and archeology foods. Currently fossils and archeology adds a few new foods, mostly prehistoric creature meat, but also new berries and plants. Those were pretty redundant in normal fossils and archeology, since they were hard to get and had no advantages over normal vanilla foods. This mod solves that, by giving those new uses in both normal farmers delight recipes and completely new recipes, making them unique and worth the effort!

So, if you want your modpack with fossils and archeology and farmers delight to feel more consistent or if you want to give new uses to your prehistoric foodstuffs, this mod is for you!

Future plans

Regarding new versions of fossils and archeology, fossils delight will stay on the latest version of f/a. That means, when f/a updates to 1.21.1, fossils delight will update with it, and will drop 1.20.1 support. If ever f/a updates to a version that doesn't have farmers delight, the addon will not update to that version.

Regarding new features, the future is uncertain, but feast blocks and possibly a new prehistoric stove are likely. Suggestions are also very much welcome, which can be done via the discord server or the issues tab.
