THIS PACK REQUIRES THE POLYTONE MOD TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY

This pack aims to transform the aesthetics of the vanilla overworld biomes through the use of custom polytone colormaps and some subtle texture changes (all things water-related).

Currently it changes the following:

• water
• grass colors
• foliage colors
• fog & sky colors
• rain, drip, & splash effects

With support for the following mods:

• Abundant Atmosphere
• Good Ending
• New World
• No Man's Land
• Sensible Biomes
• Spawn
• Wetland Whimsy

...with more planned in the future.

Water is much darker and more desaturated than vanilla, with new colors for each biome, re-using as little as possible. It has been designed to look more realistic and appealing, a step away from vanilla's neon blue across all biomes. More than anything this pack aims to add diversity across the different biomes, while still allowing them to blend nicely with one another.

Grass and foliage have been made less saturated in some biomes, more in others. I wanted to create consistency and realism across all biomes, while making it more pretty overall. As with the water I also wanted to add a hint of realism to the biomes, making grass colors more dry-looking in seasonally-themed climates where grass would be yellow-brown in real life.

Fog and sky colors vary drastically across the different biomes, as opposed to vanilla's standard, boring colors across 90% of all biomes. from bright, sunny fields to hot, humid rainforests, every unique climate has a new coat of paint.

You are more than welcome to use this pack in your modpacks, though credit would be appreciated. Please do not re-host or sell any components of this pack, it is meant to be found on modrinth only and completely free, always.
