Natural Textures adds random variation to many vanilla blocks by either giving them rotations (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) and/or mirroring them just like the OptiFine feature does. Ores and some other blocks only use 0° and 180° rotations to tile better. Some textures mirror horizontally, similar to stone. This is all accomplished using vanilla blockstate logic and models. Works with any resource pack and does not require Optifine.
